Grand Rapids, Mich. - In preparation for the Excellence in Business Dinner on Friday evening, WBBL and Bret Bakita will feature an interview with the guest speaker Lou Holtz on Thursday morning at 11:15 AM. Be sure to tune into Bret's show "On the Bench" from 10-12 tomorrow morning as he talks with the Hall of Fame Coach.

Each year, Davenport University presents the Peter C. Cook Excellence in Business Award to an individual who exemplifies outstanding business success and who shares that success with our community.

This award was established in 1998 to recognize Peter C. Cook, one of Davenport University's most esteemed graduates. Peter is a well known entrepreneur and philanthropist. He embodies the spirit of Davenport University and is a role model to all students and graduates.

The guest speaker for the event will be Hall of Fame Coach Lou Holtz. The former coach of Notre Dame is the only coach in NCAA history to lead six different programs to bowl games and the only coach to guide four different programs to final top 20 rankings. He is also a multiple winner of Coach of the Year honors. On May 1, 2008, Holtz was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.
