Prior to Davenport University, Coach Davidson was a three point specialist at Northwood University. Graduating 2nd all-time three pointers made, he was on Northwood's first ever NCAA tournament team that set many records including most three pointers made in a game and wins in a single season.

He graduated with an Associates Degree in Banking and Finance and with a Bachlelors Degree in Marketing and Management. Upon Graduating he coached two years at Northwood as he obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Coach Davidson returned home to Grand Rapids, a 1998 graduate from Catholic Central, to help start the Panthers Program.

He is also in charge of Intramurals and Recreation on the Lettinga Campus. Coach Davidson and his Wife Stephanie reside in Ada, Michigan.
