Tony Deakin, Efrain Hernandez Earn 1st Team All-Region, Sean Testa Named to 2nd Team

The men's soccer team had hopes of still playing at this point, but the individual accolades continue to roll in as they start post-season training.  Junior Tony Deakin, the reigning WHAC Player of the Year, was named to the NAIA Region VIII 1st Team and was joined by Junior teammate Efrain Hernandez.  The Panthers also placed Sean Testa on the 2nd team after finishing runner-up in the WHAC Championship game.  David Reed from Indiana Wesleyan was named Region VIII Player of the Year and Tino Scicluna was named the Region's top Coach.  Madonna University will represent the region in the upcoming NAIA National Tournament as they defeated Goshen College 1-0 in the Regional Championship game this week.  For a full list of the teams, click here.
