Davenport women's soccer team posted a great 2-1 win today over the Warriors from Indiana Tech.  The first half was a defensive battle as neither team was able  get a good look at scoring, but the Panthers got on the board first in the 58th minute as Daniella Bugli was able to find Rachel Buckner on a long pass and Rachel put it by the keeper.  DU would strike again just 10 minutes later as Jordan Sinclair scored off an indirect kick from Erin Vermeersch. The win takes DU's record to 2-3 on the year and 1-1 in WHAC play as they will now take on Cornerstone University on Wednesday September 12 at 4:00.  The game will take place at the South Christian Athletic Complex.
